We are looking for a Sr. Backend Developer (Node.js, MongoDB) to join our fast-growing tech logistics startup. You will contribute to shaping the future of logistics by leveraging deep industry insights and innovative technologies. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize backend systems that support cutting-edge logistics solutions across multiple geographies. Responsibilities/ Duties ● Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Node.js and MongoDB. ● Build efficient, reusable, and scalable server-side code. ● Define and optimize GraphQL schemas, queries, and mutations to ensure efficient data exchange. ● Design and optimize MongoDB schemas for large datasets. ● Implement data partitioning, sharding, and caching to handle high-volume traffic. ● Develop efficient data models and aggregation pipelines. ● Monitor database and server performance for maximum scalability. ● Identify and troubleshoot performance and security issues in the backend infrastructure. ● Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders. ● Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews to maintain high-quality standards. ● Analyse the work and create tasks & sub-tasks with time estimations. ● Ensure code coverage and quality.
